We believe great sun protection doesn't need a long list of ingredients. Every ingredient in Tide & Zinc has a purpose and is carefully selected for both performance and sustainability.

Non-Nano Zinc Oxide

The heart of every Tide & Zinc blend.

Non-nano zinc oxide sits on the skin's surface and helps provide broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays. Unlike chemical sunscreens, it works by reflecting and scattering sunlight rather than absorbing it.

We choose non-nano zinc oxide because it's effective, reef friendly and suitable for sensitive skin.

Organic Coconut Oil

Sourced from coconuts grown in tropical regions around the world.

Coconut oil helps create a smooth, easy-to-apply texture while supporting skin hydration. Naturally rich in fatty acids, it helps lock in moisture and leaves skin feeling soft and nourished after long days in the sun, sea and wind.

Organic Shea Butter

We use organic shea butter to give Tide & Zinc a smooth, creamy texture that glides onto the skin.

Rich in naturally occurring vitamins and fatty acids, shea butter has long been valued in skincare for its moisturising properties. It helps soften and condition the skin while creating a comfortable, protective barrier against the elements, making it a natural companion for long days by the sea.

Organic Beeswax

A natural ingredient produced by honeybees.

Beeswax helps create a protective barrier on the skin while giving our zinc blends their water-resistant qualities. It also helps keep skin moisturised by reducing moisture loss without blocking pores.

We source beeswax from trusted UK suppliers who support responsible beekeeping practices.

Organic Raw Cacao

Found in Cacao Zinc.

Organic raw cacao gives Cacao Zinc its natural colour and subtle chocolate aroma. Rich in antioxidants, cacao has long been used in skincare and helps create the warm, earthy tone that makes Cacao Zinc unique.

Our cacao is sourced from responsibly grown cacao.​

Made from finely milled hibiscus flowers, this botanical powder contributes a naturally vibrant purple hue to Sea Lavender Zinc. Chosen for its plant-based origins and beautiful colour, it helps bring our sea lavender-inspired shade to life.

Spearmint Essential Oil

Found in Coastal Mint Zinc.

Spearmint brings a fresh, clean scent inspired by the coastline. Its naturally uplifting aroma pairs beautifully with Matcha to create a refreshing everyday blend.

Lavender Essential Oil

Found in Sea Lavender Zinc.

Lavender is loved for its calming floral scent and timeless connection to natural skincare. It gives Sea Lavender Zinc its soft, relaxing aroma, inspired by warm evenings by the sea.
